Hessen

Hessen, an independent trading firm based in Montreal, Québec, needed a website redesign that embodied the youthful energy and entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of their company culture. The

new site brings their core values and dynamic office environment to life through a clean, intuitive design that showcases bespoke photography created specifically for the rebrand.

Hessen’s redesigned website reflects their dynamic office culture through strategic design and carefully crafted photography.

Hessen's office design reflects the company's professionalism while celebrating its youthful, entrepreneurial spirit. The open floor plan, featuring dark wood accents and exposed brick, blends seamlessly with the playful elements of the PS4 console, foosball table, and communal coffee stations. To translate this dynamic atmosphere into the digital realm, I crafted a website that mirrors the office’s sense of openness and sophistication, utilizing bold modules and intuitive navigation.

Given the significance of the office space to the company’s identity, the photography needed to convey a tactile sense of the environment. Collaborating closely with photographer Kaitlyn Crossley, we carefully considered lighting, composition, and angles to capture the space’s essence. We also drew on the earthy green and red tones from the plants and brick wall, ensuring these elements were woven into the website’s design to reinforce Hessen’s branding.
